NEON16 in partnership with La Industria Inc. and Twitch, hosted the first-ever NEON Cup Celebrity Fútbol Match; played at the DRV PNK Stadium, the home of Inter Miami CF in Major League Soccer, and was live streamed through Twitch garnering over 400,000 live unique views via NEON16’s Twitch profile.
The tournament, hosted by Enrique Santos and Ricardo “El Chamo” Soules and Francisco Blavia, saw Team The Kids Of Reggaeton led by Nicky Jam take the prestigious NEON Cup. Guests 21+ enjoyed Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky cocktails and a rousing halftime performance by BRESH and Frankie Flo.
For every invited guest and every photo captured on the Buchanan’s Cheers Cam, the brand donated a meal to Buddy System MIA’s Miami Community Fridges initiative, providing 500 total meals to local communities in need as part of the event. Players rocked official adidas/Inter Miami kits as well as additional adidas apparel and footwear. At the halftime mark, Lex Borrero and Charlie Guerrero’s Human(X) initiative presented a $50,000 check to National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON).
