With partnership from NTERTAIN and producer Danny Hastings, the 2024 festival celebrated Latino creativity through impactful films, panels, and performances, honoring excellence and amplifying diverse voices in storytelling.
The NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival was founded in 2015 by acclaimed Latino filmmaker and photographer Danny Hastings to address the lack of Latino representation in Hollywood. Originally launched as the Official Latino Film and Arts Festival, it has since grown into a leading platform that showcases the diverse talent of Latino filmmakers and artists across the United States.
The festival marked its 10th anniversary with a special partnership with NTERTAIN, led by creative entrepreneur Lex Borrero, media mogul Tommy Mottola, and Latin music producer Tainy. This collaboration brought fresh expertise and energy, positioning NVISION to amplify Latino storytelling on a global scale and set new standards in celebrating Latino talent in film and music.
The 2024, from October 10 to 12, edition of NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival was a resounding celebration of Latino creativity and storytelling, featuring four feature-length films and 35 short films from countries across the Americas, including the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. Held at the Palm Springs Art Museum, the festival combined impactful screenings with exclusive panels and performances by top Latin talent like Sofia Reyes and Alex Ponce, enriching the experience for attendees. The event culminated in a high-profile awards ceremony that honored exceptional works and celebrated the power of Latino voices in global entertainment. This year’s festival underscored NVISION’s role as a vital platform for Latino narratives, elevating both emerging and established voices in the industry.
