Former President and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, creator of “The Latin Explosion.” He is currently the president of Mottola Media Group and co-founder of Ntertain. One of the most influential music executives in the industry, he is known for discovering and guiding the careers of many of the world’s most iconic artists, such as Hall and Oates, Carly Simon, John Mellencamp, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand, Will Smith, and Aerosmith. He also helped launch a new global superstar movement by creating what TIME magazine in 1999 called “The Latin Explosion,” signing and developing artists like Gloria Estefan, Ricky Martin, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Marc Anthony.
